Our Global Procurement Centre of Excellence, set-up in Gurugram (India) aims to build a world class team that will focus on solving our global procurement challenges every day, in terms of operations as well as transformation requirements.We are looking for a highly skilled, experienced & motivated Senior Sourcing Specialist to join our Global Procurement Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Gurugram to both lead and support the development and delivery of strategic procurement initiatives on a global scale. This position offers an exciting opportunity for the selected candidate to lead sourcing projects independently and bring value to the organization within the Marketing and Payments category, whilst also driving continuous improvements, and always collaborating with global stakeholders in a dynamic, data-driven environment.This role needs to be detail-oriented and proactive. The ideal candidate shall have strong negotiation skills combined with excellent stakeholder / vendor management expertise, a strong background in sourcing & procurement processes, excellence frameworks, and risk management, ensuring that all purchasing activities align with company standards and industry regulations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, provide expertise, and ensure sourcing strategies align with business objectives
- Strategically sources, negotiates, and manages vendors for solutions focusing on cost savings, compliance, supplier performance
- Perform category spend analytics to identify sourcing opportunities, develop scope of work, and shortlist suppliers
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for marketing (creative, delivery) & payments (cards, platforms) categories aligned with business goals
- Lead end-to-end RFP/RFI processes, vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance management
- Analyze market trends, cost drivers, & supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for cost savings & value creation
- Advise / manage supplier relationships and performance metrics to ensure service excellence and compliance
- Maintain category spend dashboards and provide regular reporting to leadership
- Drive ESG and sustainability goals (wherever applicable) through supplier engagement and responsible sourcing practices
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, marketing, payments or related field
- 10 + years of strategic sourcing experience, with at least 5 years progressive experience in a global environment
- Strong contracts and category knowledge
- Proven negotiation skills and experience managing complex, high-value contracts
- Excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in sourcing tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa)
- Analytical skillset with the ability to interpret data, identify insights, and drive data-driven decisions; advanced experience with Microsoft applications (especially Excel and Word). Power-BI or similar analytical tools will be useful
