SAP Solution Architect

The SAP Architecture team in Digital & IT are looking for a solution architect to support Volvos drive to design, build and manage a common invoicing platform based on SAP technologies. The position is flexible for candidates from Gteborg (SE), Lyon (FR), Wroclaw (PL) and Bangalore (IN).

The SAP Architecture team is a group of 10 solution architects with SAP technology knowledge as common denominator. The team is geographically dispersed over Sweden, France, Poland and India sites and we provide skills in technical areas such as infrastructure, integrations and development as well as functional areas such as finance, HR and sales.

Within Volvo Group, we operate approximately 30 different productive SAP systems and including SAP SaaS applications. More than 400 employees and contractors work in the SAP area at Volvo and 75.000 employees use the systems.

Your first assignment would be to help design and develop an SAP core solution for trucks sales invoicing. This includes making the correct design decisions to support business requirements while staying close to standard and Volvo target architecture. To balance business needs with a forward looking yet sustainable solution with a minimum of technology debt.

Your responsibilities:

You position as SAP solution architect will put you in change initiatives where you typically are either responsible or influencing the overall design of the SAP applications, including integrations with Volvo solutions in our hybrid solution landscape. You secure that the application aligns to SAP best practices, internal cybersecurity rules and the Volvo Group target architecture.

You will actively contribute to tech watch and pre-study activities. Findings are presented in the global SAP communities at Volvo.

You will participate in architecture reviews of other solutions as a member if the SAP Architecture committee.

Your background

Graduated with a master's degree and with at least 5 years of experience as an SAP Architect

Solid hand-on experience of SAP sales processes and platforms

Good understanding of architecture principles and methodologies.

Understanding and experience in Cybersecurity concepts and standards

Knowledge/experience working in an agile environment.

You must speak English fluently.
