You have a proven proficiency in Matlab/Simulink/GT Suite/Modelica or similar tools. You must have good fluency in English and good presentation and communication skills. Ability to work with internal GSP framework will be a bonus. If you are a Master's Degree holder in Mechanical/Automobile/Electronics/Mechatronics/Physics Engineering withfantastic problem solving skills, have gained a strong domain understanding in automotive domain then you can be a good fit into this role. What will you do You will work with inhouse developed platform for system simulation based on Matlab and python. You will have an opportunity to enhance the framework by adding new functionalities and to extend the capabilitiesof the platform into new areas of simulation. You along with the team will be responsible for understanding simulation engineer and software developer usageof our products and for providing solutions throughout entire product life cycle. You will work with agile teams through good collaboration with the colleagues doing product developmentall around the world to understand the features and capabilities needed from the platform. You will support the maintenance of the platform by fixing issues and propose improvement of the codeby restructuring it. Writing and updating the scripts (which are the foundation in the platform) in Matlab and python. Restructuring the code base to enhance the efficiency and stability of the simulation platform. Support the end users with the platform understanding and bug fixing. Creating a solution for remote simulation. Skillset Tools: Matlab/Simulink/Python. Experience: Experienced in System Simulation or complete vehicle simulation. Good to have: GT Suite/Modelica/Volvo internal GSP/DSpace/Applied Intuition/IPG Truck maker/Java.
