Senior Software Tester - Manual

As a Senior Software Tester in the FinTech domain, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for web and API-based FinTech applications. Your primary duties will include conducting functional, regression, integration, API, performance, system, and end-to-end tests. You will identify, record, and thoroughly document defects and issues while collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and provide early feedback. Your role will involve driving defect triage processes, leading test documentation and QA reporting for multiple releases, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks like PCI-DSS, GDPR, SEPA, and PSD2. You will provide mentorship to junior QA engineers and support test automation scripting using tools such as Selenium, RestAssured, or similar. Additionally, you will participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings to continuously improve testing processes and frameworks. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with strong experience in manual testing, API testing, SQL, and backend data validation. Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines is essential. Knowledge of test automation frameworks, strong communication skills, and analytical thinking are also required. It would be advantageous to have knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter and Gatling, and experience in compliance testing, penetration testing, or risk-based testing approaches. Experience in cloud-based environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP would also be beneficial.,
