Job Description Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and review automated test scripts and test harnesses aligned with system requirements and design specifications.

Collaborate with development teams to implement integration and verification automation across the software stack.

Apply reliability testing frameworks and DevOps best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Optimize performance and load testing tools, embedding testability and diagnostics into the product architecture.

Ensure verification results comply with GE Healthcare s Quality Management System (QMS) and relevant regulatory standards.

Execute automated tests within a Continuous Integration (CI) environment to support agile development cycles and enable rapid feedback.
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).

8-12 years of experience in developing automated tests and conducting verification activities for software products.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Technical Expertise:
-
Automation Frameworks: Hands-on expertise in BDD frameworks (Python, Cucumber, JBehave), data-driven, and hybrid automation approaches. Hands-on experience in Squish in handling complex elements on embedded application

Automation Tools: Proficiency in Selenium or Squish, strong Core Java/Python programming skills.

Operating Systems: Basic knowledge of Ubuntu, Linux, and Windows environments.

Networking: Familiarity with network protocols and diagnostic tools.

Defect Management: Understanding of bug lifecycle and defect tracking processes.

Tools: Experience with HP ALM or similar product lifecycle management platforms.
Quality & Compliance:

Adherence to GE Healthcare s Quality Manual, QMS, and applicable regulatory standards.

Completion of all required Quality & Compliance training within defined timelines.
