As a Senior Software Engineer at Brightly, a Siemens company, you will be part of a global leader in intelligent asset management solutions. Your deep knowledge of computer science and programming principles will be essential in developing scalable solutions that align with company goals. As a technical lead, you will mentor junior engineers, stay current with technology trends, and drive continuous improvement processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and build performant features for software applications - Develop libraries and frameworks to scale development across multiple projects - Ensure quality throughout the agile product lifecycle - Support products, troubleshoot and resolve production issues - Promote a DevOps mentality within the team - Stay current with technology trends and mentor junior engineers - Partner with cross-functional teams in an agile environment - Drive continuous improvement through metrics and feedback **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience - 5-7 years of experience in software engineering - Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, databases, web programming, design patterns, and cloud technologies - Strong experience in web development, REST services, unit testing, and agile methodologies - DevOps mindset with experience in CI/CD environments - Excellent communication, teamwork, and influencing skills **Technologies:** - .NET Framework and .NET Core - ASP.NET MVC and Web API - C#, Entity Framework, SQL Server - WebDriverIO, Cypress - NodeJS, VueJS, Bootstrap - Xamarin Mobile framework **Additional Details:** The Brightly culture is centered around Service, Ingenuity, Integrity, and Togetherness.
