Job Title: Senior Software Engineer – Test Automation (Cucumber, Java, Shell/Linux, Squish)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer – Test Automation with strong expertise in Cucumber, Java, and Shell scripting on Linux environments. The ideal candidate will also have working knowledge of C++ and a passion for building reliable, scalable, and maintainable test automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Cucumber (BDD) and Java.
• Write and maintain shell scripts to support test automation and system-level validations in Linux environments.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to define test strategies and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and execute automated test cases for UI and backend components.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of automation practices, tools, and processes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
