Job Purpose We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join our PMO team, specializing in Payments Technology. He/She will need to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes in the payments domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payments systems, clear understanding of the PPI workings, excellent analytical skills, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies. Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to payments technology. Analyze and translate business needs into technical specifications for payment systems, particularly PPI (Prepaid Payment Instruments) solutions Support project planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring projects align with strategic goals. Facilitate meetings, workshops, project trackers and presentations to communicate project status and gather stakeholder feedback. Develop process maps, user stories, and documentation to guide development teams in payments-related projects. Assist in risk assessment and management throughout the project lifecycle, particularly for payment processing and compliance. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, status reports and change requests. Work closely with technical teams to ensure payment solutions meet business requirements and are delivered on time. Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to payments technology to inform project decisions Key Decisions / Dimensions Identifying reusable components which can minimize development effort and can be used horizontally within BFL products. Evaluate potential solutions and recommend the most effective approaches to meet business needs. Implementation approach for scalable application. Make informed decisions on resource allocation and project timelines to optimize outcomes. Assess risks and make recommendations for mitigating strategies throughout the project lifecycle. Major Challenges Understanding existing product functionalities and its features by engaging with cross functional teams. Working with business on translating broad problem statements to tangible deliverables Ensuring capability delivery working with various support & business functions Addressing integration challenges between legacy systems and modern payment solutions. Mitigating risks associated with fraud and cybersecurity threats in payment processing. Ensuring timely delivery of projects while maintaining high quality and performance standards Required Qualifications and Experience a) Qualifications Educational- BE/B.Tech/MCA/MBA (Any relevant graduate and above) Mandatory Technical Skills o Understanding of payment processing systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards o Understanding of PPI (Prepaid Payment Instruments) o Understanding of different app types (native, hybrid etc.) o Working knowledge of SDLC & project management including sprint planning and scrum methodology o Should have good understanding of APIs & other integration. o Should have knowledge of system interfaces for building apps. b) Work Experience 4+ Years c) Skills Keywords Project Management Business Requirements Analysis Basis specific business projects success criteria for model & capability deployments may be factored Total Team Size: Number of Direct Reports: Number of Indirect Reports: Number of Outsourced employees: Number of locations: Number of products: 5 PPI (Prepaid payment instruments) Sprint Planning SCRUM Business Analyst Solution Analyst
