Senior Software Engineer - Java

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle from requirements to development, to implementation in production environments. This senior position is very hands-on and requires a strong ability to adapt to challenging problems and an intense desire to work as part of a cohesive team. All team members are expected to keep abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and frameworks and to display industry competitive skills and techniques.

What will you do:

Participate in the design, solution, code, troubleshooting, resolve, and test software features and components in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine software requirements.

Lead coding efforts for specific modules or features.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.

Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.

Contribute to architectural decisions and design discussions.

What will you bring:

5+ years of strong back-end engineering experience in Java specifically in Spring, Spring boot framework would be an advantage.

5+ years of strong experience with Oracle and PL/SQL or similar database development

Proven Java experience designing and implementing complex systems, with exposure to varied architectural patterns, integrations, and responsibilities beyond isolated service development.

Experience with RESTful API development.

Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools. Familiarity with cloud platform AWS and Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes.

Proficient in version control systems.

Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle.

Strong understanding of multithreading and concurrency.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Bachelors degree in related field or an equivalent combination of professional experience and/or training required
