Job Description

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer

In this role, you will:

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Hands-on experience on Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices
Hands on experience on web development in JavaScript UI frameworks like Angular / ReactJS is preferred.
Hands on experience on messaging systems like Kafka, Solace
Expertise in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Hands on experience working on Oracle, Sybase
Experience in working with ETL tools like Ab Initio, Informatica
Experience working with cloud development like Azure, OCP (OpenShift container Platform).

Job Expectations:

The role requires a good understanding of the concepts, challenges and tradeoffs in distributed computing: latency vs. throughput; scalability, resiliency, scheduling strategies. Exposure to Spark would be a plus.
We are open for both the locations - Hyderabad or Bangalore and will be required to work in the office as per organizations In Office Adherence / Return To Office (RTO)
Experience working on risk analytics applications would be a plus.
In addition to feature development and bug fixes, support the production applications (L2/L3 support)
