Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer - Java Full Stack at MasterCard, you will play a key role in researching and developing innovative products and services to enhance secure and efficient transactions across various channels. Your primary focus will be on Java development, particularly in producing API services to support MasterPass, the digital wallet solution. Working within an agile development methodology, you will collaborate with and mentor other engineers and technical delivery teams to deliver robust solutions for new features and services. Your responsibilities will also include researching new frameworks and technologies, assisting with prototyping, participating in code reviews, and ensuring high code quality in your work. Key Responsibilities: - Develop API services for MasterPass using Java - Collaborate with and mentor other engineers - Implement robust solutions for new features and services - Research new frameworks and technologies - Assist with prototyping and proof-of-concepts - Participate in code reviews - Ensure high level of code quality Qualifications Required: - 6-9 years of overall career experience in Java Development - Strong experience in Java Backend Technologies - Good to have experience in Angular or React - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Solid understanding and hands-on experience in Java8, Hibernate, Microservices - Experience integrating web services - Understanding of web and mobile browser-based applications - Knowledge of Agile/Scrum Methodologies, Test Driven Development, Git - Experience in eCommerce - Familiarity with Continuous Delivery and Integration Please Note: The job requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
