Senior Software Engineer II

As a Senior Software Engineer at Zinnia, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of Zinnia's software platforms. You will work closely with stakeholders to create solutions that meet the needs of both internal stakeholders and clients, ultimately enhancing efficiency and service delivery. Your interactions with project managers, business stakeholders, and clients will be vital in ensuring the success of Zinnia's software products. In this role, you will collaborate with a global, cross-functional team to develop innovative software for Zinnia's Life & Annuity Exchange platforms. Your responsibilities will include creating well-designed, testable, and efficient code, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting, and contributing to the continuous improvement of existing platforms. Additionally, you will act as a mentor for junior team members, supporting their technical and soft skill development. To excel in this position, you should have 10-14 years of experience in Microsoft .NET technologies, with expertise in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .Net Core, Web API, and Micro Services. Your proficiency in Agile methodologies and your understanding of advanced design patterns and SOLID principles will be essential. Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work within a global team are also key requirements for this role. Having experience with relational databases, cloud platforms, and web-based applications will be advantageous. Additionally, familiarity with React, TypeScript, and the insurance/financial services industry will be beneficial.
