Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

Role Overview: As part of Agoda's front-end team, you will play a crucial role in developing features and systems for the global market leader in online travel booking. You will work with cutting-edge technologies to build high volume websites and collaborate with a diverse and passionate team to create the best solutions. Your typical day will involve developing new systems, architectures, and features, as well as contributing to agile and scrum practices to improve quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development of features, experiments, technical projects, and complex systems - Act as a technical architect, mentor, and driver towards the right technology choices - Build high-volume websites using technologies like TS, React, and GraphQL - Evolve the architecture and continuously improve software quality - Contribute to agile and scrum practices - Collaborate with server, client, and infrastructure teams to deliver optimal solutions Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in developing web applications using client-side frameworks such as React, Angular, VueJS, etc. - B.S. in Computer Science or quantitative field; M.S. preferred - Working experience with agile methodologies, analytics, A/B testing, Continuous Delivery, and Trunk-based Development - Excellent HTML/CSS skills and proficiency in object-oriented JavaScript and TypeScript - Strong communication, coordination, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills - Passion for learning new technologies and using the best tools available - Knowledge in physical architecture at scale, NoSQL technologies, queueing systems, Containers, Dockerization, K8S, CI/CD solutions, client-side performance optimization, modern coding practices, multiple front-end platforms, data analysis, and large-scale system problem-solving Additional Company Details: Agoda is an online travel booking platform that connects travelers with a global network of 4.7M hotels and holiday properties worldwide, along with flights, activities, and more.
