Job Description

As a Software Engineer at Capgemini, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle Retail applications and modules such as RMS, SIM, RPM, ReSA, Xstore, RIB, ReIM, Allocation, OMS, RPAS, RDF, and ORDM. Your responsibilities will include customizing and enhancing Oracle Retail solutions to align with business requirements, integrating Oracle Retail systems with enterprise and legacy platforms using APIs and web services, and conducting unit, system, and integration testing to ensure software quality. Additionally, you will work within the Software Engineering domain, applying scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems, while also collaborating with other software engineers and stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop, implement, and maintain Oracle Retail applications and modules. - Customize and enhance Oracle Retail solutions to meet business requirements. - Integrate Oracle Retail systems with enterprise and legacy platforms using APIs and web services. - Conduct unit, system, and integration testing to ensure software quality. **Qualifications Required:** - Troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues within Oracle Retail environments. - Ability to provide technical support to end users and internal teams. - Collaboration with business stakeholders, functional analysts, and QA teams to deliver solutions. - Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documentation. - Experience in ensuring data integrity and security within Oracle Retail systems. - Skills in optimizing Oracle Retail databases and applications for performance and reliability.
