Senior Software Engineer C++ with Video integration of Gstreamer, FFmpeg

Role Overview: You will be responsible for analyzing, developing, designing, and maintaining software for the organizations products and systems in the MCXCore unit at Motorola Solutions. This unit handles MCPTT, MCVideo call, and MCData processing, supporting public safety agencies and enterprises. Your work will involve system integration of software and hardware, validation, testing, and documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain audio features for MCPTT and video features for MCVideo, adhering to 3GPP Mission Critical Specifications - Support various audio codecs like OPUS, AMR-WB, AMR, G.711, and handle transcoding and transrating for MCPTT audio - Manage adaptive bit rates for MCVideo by responding to feedback and available bandwidth to ensure smooth video delivery - Utilize expertise in C++ language, Objected oriented programming, multi-threaded, multi-core software programming, and design patterns - Work with Signaling and Network Streaming Protocols (SIP) and Video/audio codec development/integration (H.263, H.264/AVC, HEVC, vp8/vp9, AAC, OPUS, AMR, AMR-WB, etc.) - Integrate with relevant Open source technologies like Gstreamer, FFmpeg and apply in-depth knowledge of IPTV, Video conferencing technologies, and real-time video applications - Implement Bandwidth Management for Video Traffic, Networking, IP/TCP/UDP protocols, and RTP/RTCP/SRTP protocol and stack - Demonstrate strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities using tools like valgrind, gdb, pcap - Utilize the Adaptive Communication Environment (ACE) framework and scripting languages proficiency as added advantages - Exhibit strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment Qualifications Required: - Expertise in C++ language and Objected oriented programming - Proficiency in Signaling and Network Streaming Protocols (SIP) - Hands-on experience with Video/audio codec development and/or integration - Familiarity with Open source technologies like Gstreamer, FFmpeg - Knowledge and practical application of IPTV, Video conferencing technologies, real-time video applications - Understanding of Networking, IP/TCP/UDP protocols and RTP/RTCP/SRTP protocol and stack - Strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities using tools like valgrind, gdb, pcap - Experience in the Adaptive Communication Environment (ACE) framework is an added advantage - Proficiency in any scripting language is an advantage - Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment *Note: No additional details of the company were present in the provided job description.,
