Senior Software Engineer

Black Duck is known for its cutting-edge application security solutions such as SAST, SCA, and DAST, which assist teams in identifying and resolving vulnerabilities in both proprietary code and open source components. By leveraging industry-leading tools and expertise, Black Duck empowers organizations to enhance security and quality throughout the software development life cycle. Your primary responsibility will involve working on Seeker's Agents, which are instrumental in detecting security vulnerabilities using advanced technology and presenting the findings in a user-friendly manner. Key Responsibilities: - Taking ownership of product features and ensuring the development of top-notch code with appropriate testing mechanisms. - Resolving complex technical issues by conducting in-depth investigations. Qualifications: - A degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. - Strong problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and a solution-oriented mindset. - Willingness and ability to learn new technologies as required. - Capable of working effectively both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in Node.js, Python, or Go. - Proficiency in web technologies including protocols, frameworks, and architecture of web servers. - Prior experience in security, instrumentation, Linux/Unix OS, and Docker would be advantageous.,
