As a Staff Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the Seeker Platform team, responsible for storing and displaying security vulnerabilities effectively. We are seeking candidates with 4 to 9 years of experience and a background in Computer Science or equivalent field. Strong problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and a solution-oriented mindset are essential. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn new technologies, work well both independently and as part of a team, and prioritize customer satisfaction and results in their engineering decisions. Key qualifications include at least 4 years of experience in Java and JavaScript, familiarity with web development frameworks and services such as WebSocket and RESTful, expertise in RDBMS databases like PostgreSQL, and the ability to design persistence layers for web applications using ORMs. Knowledge of security principles, experience with Linux/Unix operating systems, and proficiency in Docker are advantageous.
