Senior Software Engineer (Backend)

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Identity team at Domo, you will play a crucial role in implementing backend solutions that enable users to visualize and analyze their data effectively. Your responsibilities will include translating design concepts into functional software and actively contributing within a dynamic and fast-paced team environment. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Alternatively, 5+ years of relevant professional experience can be considered in place of a degree. You should have a minimum of 5 years of industry experience as a backend developer, working within cross-functional teams to deliver software and web applications. Proficiency in Java, Spring, and Spring boot is essential, with additional exposure to microservice architecture and API development being advantageous. A strong knowledge of testing patterns and a proven ability to collaborate effectively with project managers to deliver high-quality software solutions are also required. Desirable qualifications for this role include a good understanding of DBMS concepts. This position is based in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
