Minimum qualifications:. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.. 5 years of experience in software development using Java or Kotlin.. 2 years of experience in leading teams.. Experience in working with Android Operating Systems (OS) internals, Applications, Telephony Stack or Mobile wireless technologies.. Experience in quality improvements with test coverage and code refactoring.. Experience in building and scaling mobile applications.. Preferred qualifications:. Experience in cellular connectivity Data, Telecom, eSIM or Satellite.. Excellent communication and collaboration skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.. Responsibilities. Develop new features across the Telephony software stack including Android framework, applications and Google back end servers.. Collaborate with other Software Engineers (SWEs), Product Manager (PMs), UX designers, cross functional teams and external partners.. Debug and fix bugs reported during field testing and user feedback.. Design, implement metrics to monitor production quality and impact.. Identify and implement performance optimizations..
