Join our Zero Trust Security Team Our Enterprise Division is responsible for developing and selling Enterprise Security, Identity, and Application Access products. Our goal is to provide customers more secure, dynamic and agile infrastructure relating to Zero trust architectures. Collaborating with our enterprise sales, other internal teams and external partners is key. Partner with the best We are looking for a Senior Network and Security Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in networking, VPN software, virtualized appliances, and cloud infrastructure. You will craft, deploy, and uphold network & security solutions. You will ensure that our Zero Trust product at Akamai aligns with industry standards and regulatory necessities. As a Software Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for: Scrutinizing code in diverse programming languages like C, C++, Python, and Go. developing protocols to enhance secure code quality. Designing and executing secure network architectures for both new and existing products. Establishing and upholding security protocols, guidelines, and standards applicable across the product range. Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in networking, security, and cloud technologies. Offering technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members Do What You Love To be successful in this role you will: Have bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3-8 years of professional experience in network engineering and security roles. Have profound understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs. Have hands-on experience with VPN software, virtualized appliances on various hypervisors, cloud infrastructures, identity and access protocols. Have demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing secure network architectures.
