Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Delphi)
Location: Coimbatore

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead development within established engineering practices, adhering to scope and agile plans.
• Contribute across all phases of the software lifecycle: requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging.
• Maintain high-quality coding standards and be accountable for deliverable quality.
• Collaborate with teams to understand business needs and deliver effective software solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and uphold software development standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues efficiently.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new technologies.
• Mentor junior team members and support onboarding.
• Work seamlessly with distributed teams.

Technical Requirements

1. Delphi Expertise

• Strong experience with modern Delphi (10.x+) and Object Pascal.
• Deep understanding of OOP and VCL-based application development.

2. Windows Desktop Development

• Advanced skills in building and maintaining complex VCL Windows apps.

3. Database Integration

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).
• Experience with efficient queries, stored procedures, and solid DB design.

4. Tools & CI/CD

• Git for version control.
• Azure DevOps for pipelines and branch strategies.

5. Debugging & Optimization

• Proficient in Delphi debugging, memory management, and performance tuning.

6. API Integration

• Experience integrating RESTful APIs.

7. Development Best Practices

• Clean, testable code and familiarity with automated deployment/versioning.

8. Soft Skills

• Analytical, problem-solving mindset.
• Fast learner and adaptable to new technologies.

Preferred Additions

• Experience with legacy codebases and agile methodologies.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and modern testing tools.
• Background in software architecture and global team collaboration.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Delphi development and related tech stack.
