Senior Software Developer (Java)

About the Role:

What Youll Do:

• Design and develop robust, scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Work on cloud-native applications and contribute to infrastructure automation using CI/CD and DevOps best practices.
• Participate in modernizing the platform by refactoring or rewriting legacy modules in the new stack.
• Maintain and enhance existing features built using Servlets and Struts where necessary.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and QA teams to deliver clean, well-tested, and performant code.
• Take ownership of technical components across the full development lifecycle—from design through deployment.
• Mentor junior team members and help establish best coding practices.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum processes, sprint planning, and peer code reviews.

What We’re Looking For:

• Solid experience building enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
• Familiarity with legacy frameworks like Servlets and Struts, with a readiness to support and modernize them
• Experience in front-end development using JavaScript and Angular is a plus
• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms, along with CI/CD and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong analytical, design, and debugging skills
• Passion for high-quality code, scalable architecture, and continuous improvement
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
