Job Description

Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Design and develop backend applications using Java, preferably with Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with other services and frontend applications.
Design and deploy cloud-native solutions using AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, IAM, and CloudFormation.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security on the cloud.
Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment using AWS tools or other DevOps tools.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and debug production applications and services.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, architects, QA, and DevOps engineers.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews.

Skills Required:

Strong programming skills in Java, with hands-on experience in building scalable backend applications.
Proficiency in Spring Boot or similar Java frameworks for developing microservices-based applications.
In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, IAM, and CloudFormation.
Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs for seamless communication between services.
Familiarity with cloud-native application design principles, including performance optimization and fault tolerance.
Experience with CI/CD tools like AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions for automating deployment pipelines.
Understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes is a plus).
Strong debugging and monitoring skills using tools such as CloudWatch, X-Ray, or third-party logging/monitoring tools.
