Senior Software Developer - Backend

JARVIS (Joint AI Research for Video Instance and Streams)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and guide junior developers while building scalable and maintainable backend architectures.
  
• Design, test, and refine high-performing prompts for AI use casessuch as chatbots, content generation, summarization, and more.
  
• Collaborate with frontend and product teams to develop and optimize

  RESTful APIs

  .
• Work with SQL and vector databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Timescale, VectorDBs) to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
  
• Develop and manage

  containerized environments

  using Docker.
• Implement and maintain robust version control using Git or similar tools.
  
• Optimize algorithms for performance and efficiency.
  
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing backend services and systems.
  
• Stay updated with advancements in

  Generative AI

  and

  Large Language Models (LLMs)

  .
• Prototype and implement innovative LLM-based solutions to improve business processes or enhance customer engagement.
