Senior Software Developer - Backend

Role Overview: As a software engineer at the company, you will be responsible for creating elegant, efficient, and maintainable software to support and extend the current products. You will need to solve complex architectural challenges while implementing new features and integrate with databases, file systems, and cloud services to deliver scalable solutions. Troubleshooting and fixing reported customer issues by delivering necessary software patches will also be a part of your role. Additionally, you will assist in making design decisions based on various factors like performance, scalability, security, and future expansion. Communication and collaboration with management, product, and QA teams are essential aspects of this position. Key Responsibilities: - Create elegant, efficient, and maintainable software to support and extend current products. - Solve complex architectural challenges when implementing new features. - Integrate with databases, file systems, and cloud services to deliver scalable solutions. - Troubleshoot and fix reported customer issues, delivering software patches as needed. - Assist in making design decisions based on performance, scalability, security, and future expansion. - Communicate and collaborate with management, product, and QA teams. Qualifications Required: - Degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience. - Proficiency in web development using languages like PHP, NodeJS, or Golang. - Solid grasp of object-oriented programming, system architecture & design, databases, development, and testing methodologies. - Good understanding of Design (HLD and LLD) and Database schema design. - Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure and serverless architecture is a plus. - Excellent verbal communication skills. - Track record of delivering successful products as an engineer. - Experience with large applications of some scale will be beneficial. - Ability to deep dive, understand, and improve legacy code. - Domain knowledge of the supply chain & retail industry is a plus.,
