Senior Software Architect

As a backend engineer at DAZN, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable microservices that power and monitor our video streaming platform. You will collaborate with Architects and other Software Engineers to deliver a compelling user experience, deliver maintainable, robust, and testable code, and share knowledge with other developers across the business. Additionally, you will partner with other Software Engineering teams to create end-to-end solutions and mentor software engineers in design patterns and coding standards. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices for video streaming - Collaborate with Architects and Software Engineers to deliver a compelling user experience - Deliver maintainable, robust, and testable code - Share knowledge and collaborate with other developers - Mentor software engineers in design patterns and coding standards Qualification Required: - 10+ years of experience in design/architecture of complex backend systems, preferably using Node.js and AWS - Proactive collaboration with stakeholders to clarify requirements and review designs - Ability to explain designs to team members and guide/mentor them during implementation - Hands-on coding and contribution to feature implementation - Ability to conduct proof of concept to demonstrate proposed design/architecture At DAZN, we are innovators and game-changers, pushing boundaries to make a real impact in the sports industry.
