Senior Software Architect

Role & responsibilities

• Define and own the overall technical architecture across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and integrations.
• Lead and mentor the Senior Frontend Engineer and Senior Backend Engineer, ensuring alignment across engineering teams.
• Guide the entire development team (frontend, backend, DevOps) to deliver high-quality, scalable features.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices across the organization.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, efficient technical solutions.
• Oversee cloud-native architecture using AWS ECS (Fargate), microservices, and infrastructure as code.
• Ensure system reliability, security, and compliance with global standards.
• Drive DevOps practices, including CI/CD, observability, and incident response.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and leadership to align technology strategy with business goals.
• Act as the final decision-maker on technical trade-offs and roadmap priorities.

Mandatory Requirements

• 10 to 15 years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in architecture or technical leadership roles.
• Proven experience leading entire development teams (frontend, backend, DevOps).
• Deep expertise in:
• Frontend: Next.js (App Router), React, Zustand/Recoil, TanStack Query, Tailwind/Styled Components.
• Backend: Java 21, Spring Boot 3, JPA/Hibernate, PostgreSQL.
• Strong knowledge of AWS (ECS Fargate, cloud-native design) and Terraform/IaC.
• Track record of designing and scaling large-scale, high-traffic global platforms.
• Excellent leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Knowledge of caching, CDNs, and edge computing.
• Exposure to multi-region deployments and global latency optimization.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
• Prior experience in recruitment technology, SaaS, or marketplace platforms.
