Senior Shopify Developer

As a Senior Shopify Engineer at Therabody, you will play a crucial role in implementing complex designs and maintaining a high-quality Shopify application. Working under the direct guidance of the Senior Director of Software Engineering, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new features, ensure top performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, and lead a team of additional software engineers. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Understanding core technical aspects of Shopify Plus to implement new features and troubleshoot and resolve bugs. - Serving as the Lead Shopify Developer, overseeing technical projects and acting as a collaborative and Agile leader. - Designing, implementing, integrating, and optimizing solutions crucial for the business. - Creating and managing documentation deliverables following Agile/Scrum methodology, such as User Stories, Technical Specifications Document (TSD), Use Cases, Data Mapping, Workflow Diagrams, QA, automated testing strategies, CICD pipelines, and more. - Writing clean, well-commented code for HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid, React, and optionally AWS Lambda, PHP Core/Laravel, or Node.js. - Managing a CICD pipeline, including automated tests, for code migration from development to staging and production using GitHub. Qualifications: - Minimum of 3+ years of Shopify experience. - Minimum of 5+ years of eCommerce Web Development experience. - Proficiency in Progressive Web, React JS, and Liquid. - Expertise in HTML5, CSS, SQL, JavaScript, Web Development, Node.js. - Experience with Shopify Custom-build applications, including installation, 3rd Party App Integrations, theme, and template modifications. - Experience with GitHub Actions for code deployments through development, staging, and production. - Proficiency in converting Figma files to responsive, pixel-perfect pages and components. - Familiarity with GraphQL, Microservices, Restful Web Services, Webhooks, APIs, JavaScript libraries like jQuery, React.js, Node.js, and native JS for DOM manipulation. - Strong understanding of SEO and ADA principles, browser and device rendering behavior, performance optimization, and scalability. - Excellent teaming and communication skills for effective collaboration with other teams.,
