PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
We are looking for a Senior SEO Specialist to join our team and take ownership of our SEO strategies. If you have a passion for technical SEO, content optimisation, AI-driven content workflows, and data-led decision making, this is the perfect role for you!
KEY ACCOUNTABLIITIES
1. SEO Strategy & Implementation:
• Develop and execute SEO strategies aligned with CIMETs business objectives.
• Drive organic traffic growth through advanced on-page, off-page, and technical SEO techniques.
• Stay ahead of search engine algorithm updates and industry best practices to continuously optimize our digital presence.
2. Technical SEO & Website Optimization:
• Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and implement improvements for site speed, crawlability, indexing, and schema markup. • Optimize website architecture, structured data, and canonicalization to enhance search visibility.
• Work closely with developers to implement technical changes that improve site health and performance.
3. Content & Keyword Strategy:
• Conduct in-depth keyword research, market analysis, and competitor analysis to identify content opportunities.
• Work with content writers or AI to optimize pages, ensuring high-quality, keyword-rich, and user-friendly content.
• Work with content writers to develop and optimise content using a customer-first approach that aligns with YMYL and E-E-E-A-T standards and meets ESC, AER and ACCC compliance requirements, ensuring accuracy, neutrality and transparency. Ensure all data and statistics are properly sourced and clearly presented.
• Use AI tools for content creation support, optimisation, content refreshes, and scaling organic growth (with quality control and compliance in mind).
4. Link Building & Off-Page SEO:
• Develop and execute white-hat link-building strategies to enhance domain authority.
• Lead proven outreach initiatives and partner with PR/outreach stakeholders to secure high-quality backlinks from authoritative sources.
5. Data Analysis & Performance Tracking:
• Conduct strong data and market analysis to identify growth opportunities, content gaps, and competitor movement.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.
• Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks to track KPIs, including rankings, traffic, conversions, and ROI.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
6. Cross-Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with the paid marketing, content, and web development teams to create an integrated digital marketing approach.
• Support the product and UX teams by providing SEO insights to enhance the customer experience.
• Collaborate with B2B partners and agencies to drive scalable SEO strategies.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience in an agency or high-growth digital company
• Proven experience in technical SEO, including site audits, Core Web Vitals, JavaScript SEO, and structured data.
• Strong knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Moz.
• Expertise in keyword research, content optimization, and link-building strategies.
Proficiency in Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, and other reporting dashboards.
• Ability to manage multiple SEO projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate SEO strategies and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Experience working in a B2B and B2C environment with a deep understanding of digital consumer behavior.
• Familiarity with AI tools used for SEO and content workflows, including AI-supported content creation and optimisation.
• Hands-on experience with Canva for basic creative/design requirements (SEO assets, quick banners, simple visuals).
