Role Overview: As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at our company in Ahmedabad, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. With 6-8 years of experience, you will be responsible for various aspects of testing and automation, utilizing your expertise in Python-based development and automation frameworks. Key Responsibilities: - Clear understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Bug Life Cycle concepts. - Expertise in Functional and Nonfunctional Testing. - Proficiency in Python programming with knowledge of data structures like list, dictionaries, tuples, set. - Utilize various programming techniques such as list comprehension, list slicing, shallow & deep copy, eval/exec, regex & lambda, modules & packages. - Automation of remote data processing using modules like pexpect or similar tools. - Proficient in parsing input files like Excel, XML, HTML, CSV, etc. - Hands-on experience and understanding of Automation Frameworks like Robot, GTest, pytest. - Experience in custom test framework development is a plus. - Understanding of various test metrics and reports. - Hands-on experience in Test Management and Bug tracking tools like Jira, Mantis, Bugzilla, ClearQuest, Quality Centre. - Working experience on Linux. - Experience in Embedded Software and Firmware Testing with hands-on experience in lab equipment automation. - Familiarity with Cloud application, Cloud Services & APIs, Inter-cloud, and cloud interoperability testing. - Knowledge of Networking protocols, Devices, and application/L2-L3 testing using tools like Ixia, Spirent, Wireshark, WireEdit. - Experience in IoT, Thread, Azure, Nest, Apple home kit, etc. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in EC/CE/IT or similar field. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.,
