Job Description

Selling on Amazon is one of Amazon s fastest-growing businesses. The Selling Partner Ficial Technology team s vision is to empower every Selling Partner to succeed globally by providing a trusted and seamless ficial experience. We enable this through building foundational capabilities for ficial events and currently support payouts to millions of active sellers across all Amazon businesses. This role will lead software development initiatives across two teams.
We are looking for a leader who is passionate about building reliable, consistent, and scalable data systems. In this role, you will work on complex technical challenges and develop innovative solutions that enhance the Payout and Collections experience for our Selling Partners. As part of our team, you will design and develop large-scale distributed data systems that support our ficial platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand a range of ficial requirements and deliver solutions that ensure high data quality and availability. You will also contribute to evaluating and implementing new technologies to improve our ficial systems and support team members through knowledge sharing and technical guidance. Experience with full-stack development, distributed systems, and machine learning will be valuable as you work across various layers of our technology stack to ensure end-to-end data excellence. 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
