Senior SDE

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to join our fast-paced team at Gruve. In this client-facing role, you will work directly with business stakeholders to identify challenges, design scalable solutions, and deploy AI Agents that deliver measurable impact. This position combines engineering expertise, product intuition, and business acumen — enabling you to bridge the gap between technology and real-world outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.
• Architect and implement end-to-end AI workflows and automation using Python, APIs, and Gruve’s no-/low-code platform.
• Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate to accelerate value delivery.
• Integrate AI agents with existing enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, HR, Finance, and IT Ops platforms.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, ChatGPT) to enhance speed and productivity.
• Present solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences through clear communication, visuals, and demos.
• Provide feedback and insights from the field to help shape Gruve’s product roadmap.

Basic Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s or Master's in one of: Computer Science Or Related filed
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience in software/data engineering.
• Proven ability to analyze ambiguous problems and design practical, scalable solutions.
• Hands-on experience across APIs, databases, data pipelines, and lightweight front-end tools.
• Pre-sales / Solution Architect professionals with hands-on programming experience in Python and (optionally) React, capable of designing and delivering end-to-end solutions.
• Prior exposure to client-facing or stakeholder engagement roles.
• Flexibility to work across multiple time zones, with primary collaboration in EST hours.
• Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new tools, frameworks, and business domains.
• Proficiency in using AI-assisted development environments for enhanced productivity.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a product-first mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with automation, AI agents, or no-/low-code platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Background in consulting, startup environments, or forward-deployed engineering roles.
• Understanding of enterprise workflows in finance, HR, IT, sales, or customer success.
