In this role, you will be responsible for automating cluster operations, including provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting. You will administer and manage Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability, scalability, and security. Your expertise will be crucial in managing Kubernetes/ROSA and ROSA-AWS integrations, defining standards for consistent container deployments, and developing layout and usage patterns for OpenShift Operators. Additionally, you will create and maintain documentation, provide leadership in implementing new concepts and best practices, leverage AWS services for application scalability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on migration to the AWS cloud. To qualify for this position, you should have a deep understanding of Kubernetes, Cloud Container services, and Red Hat OpenShift, with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in OpenShift or Kubernetes administration. Proficiency in scripting/coding languages such as Java, JavaScript, REST, JSON, Python, Yaml, and Bash is required. You should also possess solid knowledge of K8/OpenShift networking, public cloud network integrations, logging and monitoring solutions like Grafana and Prometheus, as well as experience in integrating ROSA with AWS services. Strong expertise in microservices-based development, Kubernetes, Docker, troubleshooting, and cloud architecture on AWS is essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to document IT processes are also key qualifications for this role. Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience with infrastructure deployment using Terraform or CloudFormation.
