Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and architect SAP landscapes based on business requirements.

• Provide recommendations for system enhancements and improvements.

• Perform SAP installations, upgrades, and patches.

• Monitor and optimize system performance and ensure high availability.

• Manage SAP system security and access controls.

• Diagnose and resolve complex SAP system issues.

• Provide timely and effective support for incident resolution.

• Implement best practices for SAP system performance tuning.

• Analyze and optimize database performance.

• Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies for SAP systems.

• Conduct regular testing of backup and recovery procedures.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support SAP projects.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior members of the Basis team.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP landscapes and configurations.

• Ensure that all processes and procedures are well-documented and kept up-to-date.

Required Skills

In-depth knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, Solution Manager, SAP Web dispatcher, Cloud – connector, Network, firewall, SAP HANA Database, Microsoft SQL database, SAP Single-Sign-On, SAML configuration.

• Strong expertise in SAP installations, upgrades, migrations, System refresh and system copies.

• Proficient in SAP performance tuning, troubleshooting, and system monitoring.

• Experience with SAP security and authorization concepts.

• Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies for SAP systems.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• SAP certifications required.
