Senior SAP ABAP Consultant ( RAP )

Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with strong experience in SAP S/4HANA and ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance ABAP applications in SAP S/4HANA
• Develop applications using ABAP RAP (Managed & Unmanaged scenarios)
• Create and optimize CDS Views, Behavior Definitions, and Service Bindings
• Develop OData services (V4 preferred) using RAP
• Work closely with SAP Fiori/UI5 developers and functional consultants
• Perform code optimization, performance tuning, and debugging
• Participate in technical design discussions and solution architecture
• Support integrations with BTP / External systems where required
• Ensure adherence to SAP clean core and best practices
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in SAP ABAP
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA
• Proven experience in ABAP RAP (Mandatory)
• Expertise in:
• CDS Views (Basic, Composite, Consumption)
• Behavior Definitions & Implementations
• Service Definitions & Bindings
• Experience with OData services (V2/V4)
• Good understanding of Fiori Elements
• Knowledge of AMDP, ABAP on HANA, and performance optimization
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  

Good To Have

• Experience with SAP BTP
• Knowledge of UI5 custom development
• Exposure to CI/CD and ABAP Git
• SAP ABAP / S/4HANA Certification
