Description
As a Senior Salesforce Copado DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and managing end-to-end release processes, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and driving continuous improvements across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud platforms. Your blend of technical development expertise, DevOps leadership, and cross-functional collaboration will ensure high-quality, automated, and reliable Salesforce releases. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and manage the Salesforce DevOps strategy using Copado to streamline releases, ensure code quality, and automate deployments. - Design and implement CI/CD pipelines integrating Copado with Git-based version control (GitHub). - Manage complex multi-org environments, including sandbox refresh strategy, data seeding, and deployment sequencing. - Develop, enhance, and maintain Apex Classes, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and APIs in alignment with Salesforce best practices. - Collaborate with Salesforce Developers and Admins to enforce code review, branching, and release governance standards. - Automate metadata deployments, test execution, and post-deployment validations using Copado and SFDX. - Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and environment issues quickly to ensure seamless releases. - Drive best practices for version control, code promotion, and rollback strategies. - Provide technical mentorship to developers and junior DevOps engineers. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Developers, QA, PMO, Architects) to align DevOps practices with Agile delivery and Salesforce ALM standards. **Required Skills & Experience:** - 8+ years of total IT experience, including: - 4+ years in Salesforce DevOps with Copado, and - 2+ years in Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, Triggers, APIs). - Proven experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud implementation and deployment. - Hands-on experience in Copado CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and SFDX-based automation. - Expertise in metadata management, change set handling, and data migration tools (Data Loader, Workbench). - Strong understanding of branching models (GitFlow), merge conflict resolution, and release planning. - Working knowledge of Copado CLI, API automation, and integration with test automation frameworks. - Experience with Apex unit testing, code coverage, and deployment validations. - Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment and lead DevOps initiatives end-to-end. **Preferred / Nice to Have:** - Copado Certified DevOps Professional or Copado Administrator Certification. - Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, or App Builder Certification. - Familiarity with test automation tools (Copado). - Experience with MuleSoft integrations is a plus.
