Senior Sales Officer (Chick Sales)

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell day-old chicks (broiler/layer) to farmers, dealers, and distributors.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets in the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, poultry integrators, and distributors.
• Ensure timely supply and delivery coordination of chicks.
• Conduct farm visits to generate new leads and provide product awareness.
• Collect market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, and demand trends.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and provide after-sales service.
• Maintain proper sales records, customer data, and submit daily/weekly reports.
• Coordinate with the hatchery and logistics team to ensure proper planning and dispatch.
• Educate customers about chick management, brooding practices, and biosecurity.

• Knowledge of poultry farming and chick management.
• Customer relationship management.
• Sales target orientation and ability to work under pressure.
• Problem-solving and conflict-handling ability.

Qualification & Experience:

• Graduate in Agriculture / Veterinary Science / Animal Husbandry / Life Sciences (preferred).
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in poultry sales (chicks, feed, or related). Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also be considered.
• Willingness to travel extensively in assigned territory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
