Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue growth within the academic market (universities, colleges, and research organizations).
Customer Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with senior academic stakeholders (Deans, Department Heads, IT Directors, and Researchers).
Market Development:
Identify new business opportunities and drive strategic initiatives to expand MathWorks footprint in the education sector.
Collaboration:
Work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Technical teams to deliver comprehensive solutions and customer satisfaction.
Forecasting & Reporting:
Manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and report key metrics to senior leadership.
Advocacy:
Represent MathWorks at academic conferences, workshops, and industry events to promote our educational programs and software solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in
Electrical and Electronics Engineering

(EEE)
3+ years of experience in sales of (
Matlab
/ LabView/ Multisim/ Mathematica/ SPSS/ MapleSIM/
Mathcad
/
COMSOL
/ ModelSim/
Simcenter
/ Amesim /ETAP /PSpice /SCUBE).
Proven track record of achieving revenue goals.
Experience selling software or technical solutions to the
education or public sector
.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
