Job Title: Senior Revit Technician - Environmental Company Name: WSP Job Description: The Senior Revit Technician - Environmental will play a critical role in the design and development of innovative environmental projects. This position will involve collaborating with architects, engineers, and environmental specialists to create and manage detailed Revit and CAD models. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and ensuring that all designs meet project specifications and regulations. Additionally, the Senior Revit Technician will mentor junior staff, enhance workflow processes, and contribute to project planning and execution. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain Revit and CAD models for environmental projects - Collaborate with project teams to ensure design integrity and compliance with standards - Generate detailed construction documentation and drawings - Conduct quality control checks of models and documents - Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and engineering staff - Stay updated on software advancements and industry trends - Assist in project coordination - Integrate sustainable design practices into modeling and documentation Skills and Tools Required: - Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, Civil 3D, Autodesk Revit and experience with BIM methodologies - Strong understanding of environmental design principles and sustainable practices - Experience in producing construction documents and technical specifications - Good knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Familiarity with other software such as Navisworks is a plus - A degree or Diploma in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field along with relevant experience in Revit modeling and environmental design Candidates should possess a strong portfolio demonstrating their technical skills and project experience in the environmental sector.
