Senior Research Associate/ Research Scientist- Molecular Biology

Key Responsibilities Utilize molecular biology techniques to engineer strains for protein expression in bacterial and yeast host systems. Design and conduct experiments, actively contributing to hypothesis testing and optimization. Perform high-throughput screening to identify clones with enhanced protein expression levels and yields. Conduct thorough molecular analysis of transformants to ensure quality and functionality. Identify, apply, and innovate new molecular tools for strain development. Independently design, execute, and analyse experiments. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Fermentation & DSP ) to optimize expression strains for enhanced protein functionality . Maintain accurate documentation of research, findings, and product development efforts. Ideal Candidate Profile Educational Background: PhD or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Synthetic Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry , or related fields. o Experience Requirements: o Research Scientist: 3+ years of experience o Senior Research Associate: 1–3 years of experience o Research Associate: 6 months – 1 year of experience Strong expertise and passion for molecular cloning and strain improvement techniques . Experience with protein expression in prokaryotic and eukaryotic hosts ( bacteria & yeast ). Eagerness to develop innovative strategies for strain engineering and collaborate with team members. Knowledge of protein expression, bioprocessing, and protein analysis techniques (a plus). Passionate about food science, health, sustainability, and climate-focused innovation .
