Senior Research Associate – Cell Line Engineering

full-time bench scientist

Qualifications:

• MSc/MTech in applied biological sciences such as

  Biotechnology

  ,

  Microbiology

  ,

  Cell Biology

  ,

  Biochemistry

  , or related fields.

Experience:

• 3–5 years of relevant industry experience post MSc/MTech.

• Hands on experience in Cell Line Engineering,CHO

  ,

  HEK293 is a MUST.

Technical Expertise Required:

• Proficient in handling mammalian cell lines including

  CHO

  ,

  HEK293

  , and various

  cancer cell lines

  .
• Skilled in

  stable cell line generation

  using techniques like

  transfection

  ,

  electroporation

  , and

  lentiviral transduction

  .
• Experience in

  single-cell cloning

  ,

  SDS-PAGE

  ,

  Western blotting

  ,

  ELISA, luminescence assay.

• Knowledge of

  lentivirus

  and

  AAV production

  , including

  titer estimation

  .
• Competent in

  flow cytometry

  for cell line analysis; experience with

  FACS sorting

  is a plus.
• Familiarity with

  QC analysis

  of cell lines using diverse methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute experiments as per instructions from the manager.
• Ensure

  data integrity

  and compliance with internal policies.
• Maintain accurate and detailed

  lab notebooks

• Organize and store

  raw data

  systematically.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment in accordance with

  SOPs

  and housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Continuously enhance technical knowledge through formal and informal learning.
• Participate in

  behavioural development

  activities including workshops and feedback sessions.
