Senior Research Analyst

Role Overview: Nielsen, a global data and analytics company, is seeking a dynamic individual to join their Consumer and Media Insights (CMI) Operations team in Bangalore as an Operations Data Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the high quality, accuracy, and timeliness of survey data provided to clients. Key Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot technical data queries and assist internal stakeholders - Identify, explain, and resolve complex data errors or situations - Develop a good understanding of questionnaires - Adhere to project timeframes and complete scheduled tasks within the given timeline - Ensure new elements and questions mature correctly in databases - Implement database changes and requests - Conduct data audits as per defined process - Update and maintain data entitlements within client databases - Prepare and process data in a timely and quality-driven manner - Complete Quality Control checks and analysis within agreed timeframes to maintain data quality - Process and deliver databases for new clients or special requests - Collaborate effectively with the Pacific production team for smooth data delivery to clients - Contribute to the quality delivery of data to clients and follow appropriate procedures and approval in the given time - Contribute towards process improvement and implementation - Report daily tasks in the reporting software and to your team leader - Coach and train junior team members when required - Work inclusively with your team and stakeholders - Provide insights and recommendations for questionnaire design improvement - Collaborate with commercial stakeholders to ensure questionnaire submissions meet client requirements - Conduct testing and validation of questionnaire modifications - Develop and implement questionnaire changes using programming languages such as Python, Javascript, and XML - Manage and monitor fieldwork quotas to ensure target completion Qualifications Required: - Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis using SQL - Demonstrated experience (3+ years) analyzing large datasets in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency in developing and executing complex SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation - Intermediate to Advanced level of proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets - Knowledge/experience using a workforce planning/scheduling tool - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Excellent attention to detail - Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities - Confidence liaising with internal stakeholders - Enthusiasm for data analytics and problem-solving - Solution-focused thinking and a can-do attitude (Note: Additional details about the company were not present in the provided job description.),
