Senior Research Analyst - Mutual Funds

NJ India Invest is one of India's largest B2B mutual fund distribution platforms, serving over 47000 distributors all over the country. We are now looking to hire a Senior Research Analyst to lead our mutual fund research team and strengthen our research capability across equity, debt, hybrid, and alternative investment products. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our mutual fund research function, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to support our distributors, clients, and internal teams. This role involves in-depth fund analysis, performance tracking, market monitoring, and contributing to product evaluation and education. Responsibilities include conducting in-depth research and due diligence on mutual funds across categories such as equity, debt, and hybrid. The role also entails evaluating fund performance, risk metrics, strategy, TER, and fund manager track records. Additionally, developing model portfolios suited to different risk profiles and investment needs, monitoring market trends, SEBI/AMFI regulations, and fund industry developments, and assisting in empanelment of new AMCs and products on the NJ platform. The ideal candidate should possess an MBA (Finance) degree, CFA preferred (completed or in progress), and have at least 10 years of experience in mutual fund research, investment analysis, or portfolio advisory. A strong understanding of the Indian mutual fund landscape and regulatory frameworks (SEBI, AMFI) is essential, along with familiarity with tools like Excel, Value Research, Morningstar India, and Bloomberg. Key skills required for this role include strong analytical and communication skills (written & verbal), the ability to translate research into distributor-friendly recommendations, a collaborative, client-centric, and solution-oriented approach, and comfort working in a fast-paced, distributor-driven ecosystem.,
