Senior Research Analyst

As a Credit Risk Management Support Analyst, your role involves assisting global banks in evaluating the credit risk of corporates. Your responsibilities include: - Conducting research and analysis on global corporates to evaluate their credit strength. - Compiling detailed credit risk assessment reports by analyzing various factors such as the operating environment, business strength, financial stability, management strategy, market parameters, and external support. - Developing and updating financial models and spreadsheets using a combination of market databases and company filings. - Utilizing the client's proprietary framework to assign credit ratings and making necessary subjective adjustments. - Being able to effectively communicate and defend your assessments of counterparties or covered entities when challenged by senior stakeholders and clients. - Monitoring market events closely to assess their impact on the coverage portfolio. - Providing support to project managers on various ad hoc projects. Additionally, you may also be involved in tasks such as preparing industry and country research reports, maintaining and updating financial models, company/industry databases, and compiling news flows. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field. - Prior experience in credit risk management, financial analysis, or a related field would be beneficial. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with senior stakeholders and clients. - Proficiency in financial modeling and using market databases for analysis.
