Senior Reporting Analyst

Role & responsibilities

• Experience: 5-8 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, finance, procurement, or business intelligence.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Knowledge of Oracle and Salesforce is a plus but not mandatory.
• Education: Bachelors or masters degree in business, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, stakeholder management, project management, and strategic consulting skills. Experience with Agile methodologies and ways of working is preferred.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).

Preferred candidate profile

• Data Analysis and Reporting:

oCreate and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends, ensuring that insights are actionable and aligned with business objectives.

Analyse complex datasets to extract actionable insights, trends, and patterns that inform strategic decision-making.

o

Ensure data accuracy and consistency through rigorous quality control processes.

• Stakeholder Communication:

o Liaise with business unit leaders, including VP/Director-level stakeholders, to understand business needs and translate them into actionable BI solutions.

o Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through presentations, written reports, and data visualizations.

o Act as a key point of contact between the business and development teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.

• Process Improvement:

o Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting.
