As a Business Consultant specializing in P&C (Property & Casualty - Personal and Commercial Insurance), you should have experience working in both Personal and Commercial Insurance lines. You should be familiar with functional processes such as PC, BC, and CC, with a preference for knowledge in Guidewire or Duckcreek. Your expertise should cover LOBs (Line of Business) in both Personal and Commercial Lines, including Property, Auto, and General Liability. It would be advantageous if you also have experience in Casualty Lines like Professional Liability, Directors & Officers, Errors & Omissions, EPL, Inland Marine, Cargo, Workers Compensation, Umbrella, and Excess Liability. Your roles and responsibilities will involve working on various Business transformation, upgrade, and modernization programs. You will be responsible for gathering requirements, writing BRDs and FSDs, conducting JAD sessions, and workshops to capture requirements. Collaborating closely with the client, you will define optimal future state operational processes and product configurations, providing innovative solutions while ensuring the client receives the required business value. Your product experience should include knowledge of Guidewire, Duckcreek, Exigent, and Majesco, with a preference for Guidewire or Duckcreek. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are essential, along with expertise in end-to-end processes in the P&C insurance domain. Flexibility to work in shifts overlapping with US/UK hours, good organizational and time management skills, and proficiency in English communication are required. Industry certifications such as AINS 21, AINS 22, AINS 23, and AINS 24 will be advantageous. Additional experience in Life or other insurance domains is a plus. You are expected to work effectively as a team member, build strong client relationships, expand your domain knowledge and skills, and collaborate with other EY professionals across various expertise areas.
