Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Quality Test Engineer to lead our QA team and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role involves managing a team of test engineers, designing and implementing test strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product reliability, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership & Mentoring:
  
• Lead and mentor a team of QA/Test Engineers.
• Assign tasks, track progress, and conduct performance reviews.
• Provide training and guidance on testing methodologies and best practices.
• Test Planning & Execution:
  
• Define and implement test strategies, plans, and test cases for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Ensure manual and automation testing coverage for functional, regression, and performance tests.
• Conduct code reviews for automation scripts and ensure adherence to standards.

• Automation & Tools Management:
  
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of test automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience in tools like Selenium, JUnit/TestNG, Postman, JMeter, Appium, or Cypress.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).

• Quality & Process Improvement:
  
• Identify gaps in test coverage and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Development teams to resolve defects and improve product quality.
• Ensure compliance with QA standards and contribute to process optimization.
• Reporting & Stakeholder Management:
  
• Track and report QA metrics such as defect density, test coverage, and automation efficiency.
• Communicate progress, risks, and quality status to project stakeholders.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• 5-8 years of experience in software QA/testing with 2+ years in team leadership.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Expertise in manual and automation testing (UI, API, and performance testing).
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Appium, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and cloud testing environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and people management skills.

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• ISTQB / CSTE / Selenium or Automation Testing certification is a plus.
