Senior Quality Test Engineer

As a Senior Quality Engineer (SDET) at Elsevier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality and serving as a Quality Engineering Subject Matter Expert. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and executing performance and automation tests to ensure our products meet the highest standards. - Enhancing quality and process standards in collaboration with management. - Planning and executing effective test approaches for on-time and efficient delivery of high-quality software products and/or data. - Applying an intermediate understanding of QA testing methodologies for different products. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, any Engineering, or a related field, with at least 6 years of experience in software testing and automation in agile environments. Additionally, you should possess: - Deep understanding of testing strategies, QA patterns, and cloud-native application architectures. - Hands-on knowledge of programming languages like JavaScript, Python, or Java. - Experience with UI automation frameworks, observability tools, API testing tools, CI/CD tools, and performance/load testing tools.
