Senior Quality Engineer & R&D Engineer (Civil Engineering – Construction Materials)

Role Description

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance and R&D for construction material manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of quality protocols and a passion for developing and testing new material formulations such as AAC Blocks, Ready-Mix Plaster, Tile Adhesives, Block Jointing Mortar, and related products.

Key Responsibilities

* Implement and monitor quality control processes in the manufacturing unit

* Perform testing of raw materials and finished products as per industry standards

* Conduct root cause analysis for defects and suggest corrective actions

* Maintain detailed QA/QC documentation and laboratory records

* Collaborate with the production and sales teams to resolve quality concerns

* Assist in *R\&D of new construction material formulations* to enhance performance and cost-efficiency

* Stay updated with *IS codes, BIS standards, and market trends*

Requirements

* Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering*

* 4–5 years of relevant experience* in quality control and/or R\&D in the *construction materials industry*

* In-depth knowledge of *QA/QC processes, material testing (lab & site), and IS standards*

* Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills

* Hands-on experience with lab equipment and test protocols for cementitious products
