Job Description

Responsibilities

Contribute to test process, tools, and methodologies to include both manual & automated test execution.
Interpret requirements for testability and ensure coverage in test case design.
Present test plan to leads and product owner for approval prior to execution.
Work closely with the scrum team to drive, implement, and maintain tests in an agile environment.
Assess impact of design changes to determine optimal level of testing.
Develop methods and perform load and performance testing.
Integrate testing with continuous-integration process.
Troubleshooting mindset, an ability to break down a system or process systematically and effectively into subparts to identify failure mechanisms.
Ensure proper analysis and documentation of test results.
Actively participate in team retrospectives. Recommend & implement improvements to test strategy & planning.
Possess excellent time management and prioritization skills.
Ensure all testing deliverables are of high quality and compliant.
Experience in bug management tools like JIRA.
Perform in-depth regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new test and automation techniques, and better assist other team members.
